Carol (Wheeler) Canfield Date of Birth: May 22, 1954 Date of Death: November 29, 2015 Carol Ann Wheeler Canfield was born in Flint, Michigan on May 22, 1954 to Harry and Theresa Wheeler. Carol moved to Colorado as a young girl to help with her asthma. In 1972, she met and married Lonnie Canfield in Aurora, Colorado. Lonnie and Carol moved to the western slope where Carol gave birth to their son, Chad. The family moved back to Fort Collins at which time Carol began her flourishing real estate career where she was most recently a career coach for Re/Max Alliance Carol flew with the angels on November 29, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Lonnie; son, Chad; daughter-in-law, Shannon; grandchildren, Makalya and Blaine; her sister, Shirley Roy; and two brothers, Lyle and Harry Wheeler. A celebration of life was held at the Embassy Suites on Clydesdale Parkway in Loveland, Colorado on Thursday, December 3, 2015. In lieu of flowers the family is asking that you please consider contributing to a memorial fund that has been set up at First Bank (you can go directly to a branch or visit the Carol Canfield Memorial Facebook page and use PayPal), or provide a donation in Carol's name to either the Fort Collins Cat Rescue or to an animal rescue of your choice.
