Michael Loughrey Date of Birth: 7/11/1954 Date of Death: 10/17/1983 Michael Loughrey, 29, worked as a landscaper. He turned up missing on October 17, 1983. His body was found seven months later by a construction worker in a field in the 8400 block of E. Jefferson Avenue near Hampden Memorial Gardens. Michael had been shot multiple times. Anthony Landis was suspected of killing Michael. He is also suspected of killing two other men three weeks later. But he was never prosecuted for these killings because he was in the federally protected witness program. Landis is serving time for other crimes.
